If you are searching for anticipation, noise and more excitement than you can with stand, then craps is the casino game to enjoy.

Craps is a fast-paced game with whales, budget gamblers, and all players in the middle. If you are a people-watcher this is one game that you will want to observe. There is the whale, gambling with a big amount of money and making loud declarations when he wagers across the board, "$520 across," you will hear the whale say. He is the gambler to watch at this table and he knows it. They’ll either win big or don’t win big and there is nothing in between.

There’s the budget gambler, maybe trying to acquaint himself with the whales. He will tell the other players of books he has read on dice tossing and hover around the most accomplished player at the table, eager to confer and "pick each others brains".

My preferred people at the craps table are the real chaps from the good old days. These experienced gentlemen are usually tolerant, commonly kind and will almost always offer tricks from the "good ole days."

There are a great many other personalities that you’ll see around a busy Craps table. When you take the plunge and determine to participate in the game, make sure you use proper behavior. Find a spot on the rail and put your cash down in front of you in the "come" spot. Do not ever do this when the dice are rolling or you’ll be known as the last character I wanted to mention, the jerk.
