If you are seeking thrills, boisterousness and more entertainment than you can likely bear, then craps is the only game to bet on.
Craps is a quick-paced game with high-rollers, budget gamblers, and everybody in the middle. If you’re a people-watcher this is one game that you’ll like to watch. There’s the whale, buying in with a large bank roll and making loud announcements when he wagers across the board, "$520 across," you will hear them say. He’s the bettor to watch at this game and they know it. The whale will either win big-time or lose big and there is no in the middle.
There is the budget gambler, possibly attempting to acquaint himself with the high-roller. He will let the other players of books he’s read through on dice setting and bum around the most accomplished shooter at the craps table, ready to talk and "pick each others brains".
There’s the student of Frank Scoblete latest craps class. While Frank is the very best there is, his disciple will have to do his homework. This guy will take 5 mins to setup his dice, so apply patience.
My preferred individuals at the table are the undeniable chaps from the old times. These experienced gents are generally tolerant, generally generous and most likely will always share advice from the "good ole days."
When you take the plunge and choose to participate in the game, be sure you use proper etiquette. Find a position on the rail and put your money down in front of you in the "come" area. Refrain from doing this when the dice are in motion or you will be known as the last character I wanted to talk of, the jerk.
